Adolphos Dor - hateful, short Lord of House of Dor. His face is somewhat semian, with large ears and an even larger mouth.Pompous, egotistic, and secretly afraid of appearing wrong and foolish. His arrogant ways have made him the most wealthy bachelor in Praxis City. Rumors suggest if he is not behind the racist Order of the Fist, he is a definite supporter.

Annabelle Grimke - twenty-year old daughter of the Widow Grimke and the former predominant caskmaker of Praxis City, Annabelle is red-headed and stout, and collects small cat statuettes. She is also stubborn and set in her ways once she sets her mind to something. Right now, she has set her mind to getting married, and believes she has found a suitable suitor in Fafnir Savage.

Ansar - assassin, suspected Hashisham, Right Fist of the Old Man, deceased. Watch records indicate he was killed outside the Dragon's Tooth Tavern by an arrow from above. Investigation is closed.

Amanda Coren - mother of Lianna Tisdale and Oweyn.

Arabella Stavrim- owner of the Silver Shoppe on the Bay Market, raised by a hedge-witch. Also a keeper of a dark secret. Also Josh Savage's landlady; he rents out the flat above her shoppe.

Ashley Hunter - young adventurer, petite, attractive human with the ability to see the memories imprinted on objects. Friend of Athena and Edgar, she often smells like roses.

Athel Selden - sailor from Divvytown, a small port on the independent island Darendo. Works on Crescent Moon as Third Mate. Also served on the Biats trading ship, the Fair Maiden, and Fafnir's Chicoran Belle.

Athena Fikaris - Captain of the Cresent Moon and lady of the Manor Fikaris. She was the fiancée of Edgar Tully, and a close ally to Fafnir Savage.

Burg's Mother - the cook at the Doom Lounge, and the little old lady at the front desk of the Red Rum Inn. Seen rarely, notably in Winter which reveals she has some soothsaying abilities.

Cabal - deceased alchemist of Lord Tisdale, summoned the Fallen known as Murmur. Town Watch records report his cause of death was a fatal wound to the throat.

Caitrin O'Leary - Half-Elf ranger, patron: House of Silverthorne. Born in Gemlock in 1701. Assisted in the recovery of the spear and magic helmet from the Forbidden City needed to slay Necra.

Calmet of Ket -Elf Ranger and member of Praxis Regiment. Currently serving as one of the three Lords of Lost Elf Outpost, by the Sand Hills.

Cedric the Druid - masked half-elf and loner. Enigmatic member of the Town Council.

Christian Kildare - of Beauport Island. Inherited Kildare Castle, governorship of Beauport. Brother of Michael Kildare. Former adversary of Edgar Tully and Athena Fikaris, over a matter of a cyclop's stolen treasure.

Christian Sinner - Hero sent to recover the Song of Roland, and entwined in the life of Edgar Tully.

Codger - The Watchman that was on the scene for the Salming murder

Craven the Elder - native human/werewolf. Role of Tribe Guardian usurped by Starwulf. Currently a trader.

Craven the Younger - native human/shifter rogue. Nephew of Craven the Elder. Brother-in-law and follower of Endrin.

Crissany "Munchkin" Umbertoe - sister of Logan Umbertoe, owner of 'Crissany's Criters' pet shop near Bay Market. Former Player Character of Joe's sister.

Cross Lightfoot - Folke rogue who attempted to reorganize the Folke Thieve's Guild known as Uncle Odo's Consortium. Killed by T'Bok to prove her loyalty to Croft and Peel.

Croft - this Half-Orc, Half-golem criminal mastermind got his start as a cyborg on the Kal-Dixas sim. In Praxis, he was an orphan on the streets of Battersea, and volunteered for military duty in the Borderlands. There, as one of the elite Half-Orc Warclaw Battalion, he met the magician who would later be known as the Mad Wizard Druze. Druze grafted troll arms and legs onto Croft. Driven insane by the process, Croft went on a personal warpath on the Orc Patrols in the Borderlands, until he chanced upon one of the Orcish Command Stones. Driving the enchanted gem deep into his own chest, it gives him limited ability to completely control a few individuals, and to suggest things to others that are hard to refuse.

Curry, Ms. - JR's senior English teacher, who significantly underestimated his potential.

Dai - fallen angel, doomed to be a Watcher. Fell for falling in love with Enjeru's Mother. Currently lost his abilities, and forced to work at the Doom Lounge as a sweeper and fetcher of casks.

DaiMon Koda - old female gnome steward to the Lady Reagan and the House of Mudd

Dalamor Stormshadow - half-elf ranger, Founder of Praxis City. Inspired by gaming character played by John, brother of Joe and creator of Rache.

Darius - elderly acolyte of the Church of St. Kords.

Darko Rad -former nasty bounty hunter from the Borderlands. Slain in Orc Quarter.

Deadeye - one eye dwarf dockmaster.

Dirk, son of Groll - ghost of Josh Savage's gnome mentor. Has left for the Great Beyond.

Del Rook - kobold sorcerer. Made appearances on Outpost 77 and Kal-Dixas as a Cardassian.

Dorian, son of Markus of Venici. Young boy rescued as a hostage from pirates by Athena Fikaris.

Dorian Goldwing - elven wizard & resident Cryptozoologist at School of Conjuring. Often at the Keep, conducting field research. Inspired by Joe's first ever D&D character.

Drystein - manic-depressive hyperintelligent enchanted chimpanzee. When the Mad Wizard Druze owed Fafnir for smuggling contraband monstrous spiders into Praxis City, he paid him by granting intelligence to his pet chimp. Drystein thinks of it as a more of a curse. Drystein ran the Evil Monkey Tavern for awhile, but left the business to the Ranger Jerethe when raided by Esani bandits. Drystein runs the Paper Dragon Printing Press, the monthly newspaper of Praxis City. Drystein can often be seen at the Doom Lounge, although he is not likely to be happy about it.

E:

Earwig - Folke owner of Earwig's Fur Trading Stall in the Bay Market, and a snitch. He earned his nickname by the unseemly curly hair growing out of his ears. Will sell information to the highest bidder. The character of Earwig was inspired by a Yridian fur trader on the former Kal-Dixas sim.

Echo Startree - Captain of the Guard. Elf with an eyepatch, gem of seeing inserted in missing eye. Was a former debutante with her twin sister, until they were attacked wandering too close to the Orc Quarter. Echo survived the attack with scars and one less eye...as well as one less sister. She took the Oath of the Stoic, denying her emotions, and joined the Town Watch in pursuit of justice. May be described as Lawful Neutral.

Edgar Tully - a rogue, urban ranger, and assassin, the cursed hero that saved Praxis City at the risk of his own immortal soul. Former fiancee of Athena Fikaris. Currently deceased, although he's gotten better from this condition before.

Edward Tisdale - deceased Lord of the House of Tisdale.

Elrenia Tryshare - sister of Gage Tryshare

Emen - legendary Half-Orc Barbarian. Member of Praxis Regiment, lives in Mushroom Grove. Player Character of Joe's wife Tracy, and the right person to kick open a closed door in the most dangerous of dungeons!

Endrin - Northlander merc, member of Danger Guild, and Captain of the Guard at the Keep. Player character.

Endor, son of Mull - fat gnome arms merchant. Guildmaster of Weapons Smiths. Owns a shop on Gnome Street, and may be involved in illegal arms trading.. Former NPC from the Kal-Dixas sim.

Enjeru - half-celestial daughter of Dai; currently sent away to the Borderlands. First incarnation was an El Aurian in the simming world as Starfleet Intelligence and First Officer of the USS Arashi, showing up wherever Jovan Petrovic appeared.

Eria Jaden - monk. Missing in action in the Farm Lands, presumed dead by the hands of Necra's Gargoyle.

Fafnir Savage - one of my favorite creations. The friendly neighborhood gentleman smuggler appeared first on the small Siferra Simulation, and later was the central character of the Kal-Dixas simulation.

Ganron - the elderly elven town mage, he is a recluse, and pursues magical knowledge at costs of all other things. Usually puts off the management of the School of Conjuring to his major domo, Thea Nightstalker, so he can concentrate on his studies of higher magic.

Gear Rannulf - Half-Orc captain of the House Tisdale Guard

Gilbert du Lacroix - deceased. Preceded Jovan Petrovic as High Priest of Saint Kords. Was also a Cult Leader. His tomb was raided, starting the many encounters with necromantic forces that prompted the Dragon Praxis to re-instate the lost Order of the Slayer.

Gilgik Toppin - former Folke wizard, currently a slime creature guarding the sewer entrance to the School of Conjuring

Jaffa Lupul - former Captain of Tisdale Guard.

Jaik Savage - changeling son of Fafnir Savage and a past fling of his. Found himself on Fafnir's doorstep at the age of eight, and has helped out in the bar as a potboy until recently. During his brief crime spree as a pickpocket and house burglar with Griffin Hayes, Jaik had to come up an excuse to his Watch Detective brother Josh to why he had extra riches, and made up an excuse that he was the new courier for the Manor Fikaris. This lie forced him to seek employment with Athena Fikaris, which as changed his life forever. As changeling are prone to adapt to their surroundings, Jaik now has aspirations of becoming a gentleman, and marrying Lina Rosetree. If only his dark past didn't still occasionally haunt him...

Jakta Legare - bald and arrogant Cadessi owner of Poison Apple Tavern and mercenary Danger Guild

Jelnik Firemane - centaur bardic ambassador from Centaur Territory. Has flowing red fur, hair, & beard. Can be found at the Wanderer College as a visiting professor.

Jeradin - ghostly rogue and assistant of Josh Savage. Former indentured servant of the Weapons Merchant Endor, and the Wanderer College Dock Street Acting Troope. He was receiving some minor renown for his portrayal of Casmin in The Dragon's Hero, and as the led in the Wizard of Venici. Although his mission was trying to raise enough money for his sister Jessafine and his own freedom, he enjoyed the attention acting gave him. An admiring fan recruited him for the newly forming Night Hawks Thieves Guild, where he met

Jesper Salming-Late fish merchant, and member of False Face Society who unwisely decided to leave. Hanged from the rafters by Thomas Killjoy. Former owner of Salming Salmon. His widow Ursula took over his shop, and his place in the Fisher's Guild.

Jessafine - attractive midwife and nanny at the Mull Manor. Love interest of Josh Savage, sister of Jeradin.

Kain Bloodrythe - distant cousin of Grundy Thorkenshield. This dwarf was beginning a career in adventuring, returning from the House on Orc Hill with a animated cat skeleton. Last heard, he disappeared in the Glith Territory of Oristo, while pursuing the forbidden Relic of the Ogre with the wizard Sinjin. It is unknown to whether Kain is deceased or not.

Katya Savage - Curator, Wanderer College Library. Katya is Fafnir's ex-wife, and mother of Josh Savage. She was imprisoned for seven years in the Cadessi Archives when Fafnir was caught smuggling Heretic refugees. She divorced Fafnir, and ended up in the colonies. She battles a hereditary depression, which she mostly blames on Fafnir.

Kidymkus - Half-Orc Adept/Rogue/Leader of Broad Street Scavengers (Wererat Gang). Estranged son of Madam Yaga, who tried to kill him on various occasions. Kidymkus is well-educated for a Half-Orc.

Maggie Malone - bartender with demonic heritage at the Doom Lounge. Not heard from recently. Ah, for the want of good help!

Margaret Grimke or Widow Grimke -. 40-year old widow of the town's former predominant caskmaker. Margaret is one of the richest widows in Praxis, and somewhat of a prude. She enjoys collecting old furniture and calling it by its Cadessi name. She is protective of her daughter Annabelle, and also takes care of her former husband's aging sister Midge. She is very proper, and insists on manners and protocol.

Marina Dolby -teenage daughter of Merchant Renik, looks up to Lia Mohr as a role model

Maude - not really a person; the summoning word you use in Newt's Brew if you want the unseen servant to wait on you.

Penniless Paul - prophetic beggar. Found nailed to door of Red Rum Inn.

Portia Tealeaf - Folke sorcerer and unlikely apprentice to Rybet. Fiancée of Jot Savage. Player character of Joe's wife!

Precious the cat -Telepathic cat. The original incarnation of Precious appeared on the SS Gideon simulation.

Psyche Savage - the hot-blooded adopted grand-daughter of Octavius Savage. One of Psyche's grandparents was a Half-Orc, and although she has inherited some of the Orcish strength and intensity, she passes as a Human. Forever guilty about her denied heritage, she has bounced from several jobs in search of her identity. She has been a monk of St. Idarian's, a volunteer at the Gideon House, a Town Watch Inspector, and a member of the undead hunting Order of the Slayer. Recently, she was discredited from her vows, and forced to leave the Order. Psyche currently serves as the Assistant Manager of the Doom Lounge. She is a roommate to Del Rook, and her former love interests include Edgar Tully and Miskha Alexandre. Psyche was originally a simulation character. Appeared on variety of simulations, including Outpost 77, Dawn Colony, SS Gideon, Kal-Dixas, and Starbase 116, as a Klingon, fittingly enough.

Rache Kimrykson -, Human barbarian. Created by Joe's brother John, who introduced him to the world of fantasy and D&D.

Rastis - aging, protective man-at-arms at the Manor Grimke. Has a white, walrus-size mustache and has been accused of being more than little taciturn. He is used to thinking of himself as the man of the house about the Manor, although he is not romantically involved with any of the Grimke ladies.

Reagan Mudd, also Lady Reagan - Noble head of the House of Mudd; she was the mysterious niece of the former Lord Tantos Mudd before he chocked on a wishbone. Reagan took over the house, and the remaining household staff was quickly and quietly replaced. She is the former Countess of the Keep, until the Keep was granted to Paladin Kerith and the House of Umbertoe. Formerly seen socially with Captain Josh Savage. Rico Quillman - fighter born in 1697 in Norwind. Dark brown hair and green eyes, a handsome if somewhat manipulative person. Currently serving the Dragonscale Company of the House Donmillion.

Rid Amri - young adept, recruit of the Hashismism, apprenticed to Sin Esarran

Robin Seabrook - Octavius Savage's assistant, and a changeling.

Roisin O' Leary - mother of Caitrin O'Leary

Roland Thar - Centurion of the House of Dor, and self-proclaimed "Lizard Hater."

Rybet - Half-Orc Sorcerer and Consort of Emen. Second Half-Orc to receive the coveted Order of the Dragon. Player character of Tracy's; originally a NPC developed to guard Emen's home while she was away adventuring, Rybet also grew to legendary status, after stopping a hydra sent by Necra to destroy the Keep.
